City of Nomads (Nomad Fortress) - VisitAlmaty

by VisitAlmaty

The City of Nomads (Nomad Fortress) is an artistic building that was built in 2004 for the filming of the film Nomad. The fortress in the medieval-oriental theme is located on the banks of the Ili River, 90 kilometers from the city of Almaty. Passing through the front gate, each guest finds himself in an old settlement with houses and narrow streets. On the roof of one of the fortresses, a panoramic view of the river and the surrounding area opens up.
